Students can use resources available to their student chapter to plan academic schedules, share resources, and to find employment assistance.</span> </p> <h2 align="left">What is the history of AITP</h2> <h2><span class="content"></span></h2> <p align="left"> <span class="content">AITP was previously titled DPMA. DPMA was an acronym for the Data Processing Management Association. In early 1996 the national chapter decided to rename the organization to be more representative of the current industry, upgrade the image of the association, and to meet the changing responsibilities of our profession and studies.
